Climate and Nature Report 2023 Released!

We are very happy to present to you all the Climate and Nature Convention Report!

Over 90 Nottingham people, many from Gedling Borough, have contributed directly to a citizen-led Climate and Nature Report, launched today following the Convention at Arnold Civic Centre on November 18th 2023.

The report calls on local and national politicians to respond urgently and with commitment to the climate and nature crisis.

Please use the link below to download the report. The report is for you all to read, print, share (we would of course actively encourage you all to share it far and wide, on social media, Whatsapp groups, show your neighbours, anything you would like!).

As we stated at the convention, the report has been sent onto the leaders of Rushcliffe, Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire and City councils, all Gedling Borough Councillors, as well as local City and County MPs. We will also be personally presenting the report to Councillor John Clarke, leader of the Gedling Borough Council, today (09/01/2024).

The report will be shared through our website and social media channels, it will also be appearing on some local media channels, so we would be very grateful if you could engage with and share any media coverage you spot of the report!

We would like to take this opportunity to again thank everyone for their involvement in the convention and helping us to create this report. We are committed to this report being a positive step forward in trying to tackle the climate and nature crisis in our local area, and holding our politicians accountable!
